Brighton Marathon 2026: Every Mile Tells a Story

Brighton Marathon 2026: Every Mile Tells a Story

This April 12th 2026, thousands of us are heading to the south coast for the Brighton Marathon weekend—it's one of the UK's biggest races.

But let's be honest, it's never just about the 26.2 miles. It's about why you run.

Everyone hitting that start line has a story. Maybe you're running for someone you lost, fighting back from an injury, trying to find your confidence again, or raising vital funds for a cause you really care about. That reason is bigger than any finish time.

Whether this is your first time chasing a massive personal goal or you’re a veteran marathoner coming back with new motivation, Brighton is where we all come together—a huge surge of grit, heart, and community. Every step on that stunning seafront route isn't just training; it's fueled by pure meaning.

The cheers will be loud. The miles will be brutal. But what keeps you going is that deep-down belief that you can do something you never thought was possible.

At Proviz, we see and celebrate every single one of those journeys.

If you're out there running, supporting, or just tackling your own daily goals—remember, being seen matters. Feeling confident matters. And just showing up, whatever your speed, that's the real shine.

Inspiring Stories in this Year's Brighton Marathon 2026.

Running for Frankie: Turning Challenge into Purpose

Rob Galloway is running the Brighton Marathon for his daughter.

After Frankie was diagnosed with a rare genetic condition, Rob and his wife founded a charity to drive research and support families facing similar challenges. This April, he’ll push Frankie in her wheelchair for the final 5K - crossing the finish line together.

It’s a powerful reminder that every mile can mean something more.

100 Marathons, One Mission

For Hannah Cox, Brighton marks marathon number 99.

After running 75 marathons across India in extreme conditions—all while managing health challenges—she’s now closing in on her goal of 100 marathons. Her mission? To raise vital funds for environmental causes and inspire change through endurance.

Proof that with purpose, the limits we set ourselves can always be pushed further.

Here’s to your story on the start line this April.

Shine brighter. Run stronger.
