I love this for cycling BUT

"It's in many ways a great gilet which I've use a lot for cycling in Spring and now early Autumn and I was tempted to give it five stars, but a couple of things could make it better. Positive first: good pockets (always love pockets) to fit my personal and work phones, keys, access card for work AND a tissue (exercise gives me a runny nose). It's a good weight for Spring and Autumn or cooler summer days, with good quality zips, elasticated at the arms and waist so it never restricts movement. But I'd have loved the option of a hot pink, turquoise or electric blue so it can stand out in most environments without being yellow, and a bit more reflective detail. The dedicated reflective version is great for night, but too grey for wearing in daylight and I would blend into the concrete shared path I use for most of my commute (alongside the often grey sea and sky). I have the teal, but for it's more moss green, and ever so slightly muted from what I was hoping for. The other tweak I'd love, is to have a two-way zip, so I can undo from the bottom as well as the top. The elasticated waist helps to compensate in terms of fit, but when I get warm, it's nice to be able to open from both ends without having the gilet flapping too much, or turning into a sail pushing me back when cycling into the wind (as often happens when you cycle by the coast). I have the Solaris jacket in coral which I wore over the winter, which is fantastic, with a good mix of reflective dots over a strong colour, plus the two-way zip and but I wanted a different colour."

Fab gilet for cycling

"I bought this for cycling. Initially ordered a size 10 (I’m normally a 10/12) but it was still quite loose so I bought a size 8 which fit perfectly. I wanted it to be close fitting so it wouldn’t flap around. Fantastic colour and very lightweight."

Windproof gilet

"I bought the small as i’m a 10-12 and it fits with space. The colour is nice and bright. I wore it for parkrun where it was cool and windy and it stopped the wind going through. Only thing I found was it wasn’t very breathable and was damp inside by the end. Service was great, delivered in good time and well packaged."
